Karate Kid martial arts quote

One of my favorite Television shows was the action-adventure martial arts western series starring David Carradine called Kung Fu. It was a martial art series based on the life of Shaolin priest and martial artist Kwai Chang Caine. Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin monk, travels through the old west, armed only with his spiritual training and martial arts skill. Caine, accused of killing the emperor's nephew in China, flees to America to avoid punishment for a crime he committed out of anger. Caine searches his family roots and his half-brother Danny. Although Caine attempts to avoid notice, his training and sense of social responsibility force him to fight for justice and protect the underdog. Whenever Caine gets in an altercation, he remembers his lessons at the monastery. The flashbacks were of Caine's childhood training. These flashbacks would help Caine deal with many of life's difficult situations. His teachers, blind Master Po and Master Khan would answer Caine's questions using words of wisdom.

Not everyone has philosophical teachers or martial arts training at the Shaolin temple. For the rest of us, we have quotes meant to inspire us. We get these quotes from sports figures, celebrities, books, and self-help gurus. Through my journey, I have compiled a list of my favorite martial arts quotes and life sayings. Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call.
God: All right Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?
God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.
Me (humbled): OH
God: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.
Me: (ashamed)
God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.
Me (embarrassed): Okay
God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.
Me (softly): I see
God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.
Me: I'm Sorry God
God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things, the Good & the bad… And don't doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.
Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.
God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children…

I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me." He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testing's.
